Lewis Hamilton suffered another awful qualifying result at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix with his maiden Ferrari Formula 1 season set to end with a whimper at the Yas Marina Circuit

Lewis Hamilton said he was full of "anger and rage" as his bid to end his dreadful first Ferrari season on a high fell flat. Hs qualifying form of late has been particularly miserable and did not improve at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix , for which the seven-time Formula 1 champion qualified just 16th.

Hamilton has now been knocked out in the first part of qualifying at each of the final three rounds of the campaign. He was more glum than ever as he visited the media pen to react to that desperate result and muttered his way through several interviews, offering few words in response to a barrage of questions.
