ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A car crashed into a building and three cars on Saturday, all of which belonged to a veterinary non-profit. Now, the group is asking for help as they attempt to repair the damage and care for the animals that were at the building during the crash.

In a release from Carol House Quick Fix Pet Clinic, the crash happened around 3:40 a.m. on S. Jefferson Avenue, the location of their clinic. A car hit three of their outreach and transportation vehicles, totaling two, as well as the side of their building, knocking in the brick exterior and damaging the cat kennels that were inside.

The clinic runs a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program that helps curb the population of “community cats,” which live outside. The clinic said nine cats were in the TNR recovery room at
