Chelsea dropped more points in the Premier League as they were held to a goalless draw by Bournemouth .

They thought they were behind as early as the third minute at the Vitality Stadium, but Antoine Semenyo’s opener was ruled out for an offside in the build-up .

Chelsea were not convincing on the day but deserved their point and came close when an Alejandro Garnacho header hit the post.

A draw provided something of a response from Wednesday’s surprise defeat at Leeds .
