A star of This Morning has cryptically announced their single status in a post hinting at divorce.

Dr Scott Miller, the resident vet on the ITV show, posted a candid message on Instagram, using the hashtag 'divorce' as he updated fans about his relationship status.

Sharing a picture of himself with his adorable dog, Mango, 48 year old Scott confessed he'd been experiencing a "tough period" in a heartfelt post where he expressed hope for 'happier times ahead'.

He praised his pet and his four children, stating: "Looking forward to the future. It's been a tough period, but I'm so grateful for my kids, my amazing and supportive friends, my health...and my dog."
