LOS ANGELES – There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in the latest drawing of the multi-state Mega Millions lottery. This pushes the estimated jackpot for Tuesday’s drawing to $60 million.

A ticket with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, was sold at a pharmacy in Corona del Mar. It is worth $5,104,960, the California Lottery announced.

Tickets with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, sold outside California, are worth a multiple of $1 million. However, California law requires major payoffs of lottery games to be paid on a pari-mutuel basis. This means they are determined by sales and the number of winners.

The ticket’s base prize amount was $2,552,480, then doubled to $5,104,960. This was because the ticket’s multiplier was 2, according to the California Lottery.
