CANTON, Ohio — Kirtland is looking for its eighth football state title on Saturday. The Hornets will have to go through Hopewell-Loudon to get it.
They will meet in the OHSAA Division VI state championship game at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton.
The Chieftains (13-1) are in their third state final, looking for their first win. The Hornets (14-0) are playing in their 14 th state final in the last 15 years.
