ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WILX) - The Michigan Wolverines football team will head to Orlando, Florida, to participate in the Citrus Bowl, On3’s Brett McMurphy reports.

Michigan finished the season 9-3 and had its College Football Playoff aspirations dashed with a loss at home to No. 1 Ohio State last weekend.

The Wolverines will take on an SEC opponent in the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl, with the opponent yet to be determined.

The Citrus Bowl is scheduled for Dec. 31 at 3 p.m. at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.
