Strictly Come Dancing judge Motsi Mabuse opened up about a health issue she is facing as she faced memory problems during the live show.

The South African-born dancer, who became part of the Strictly judging panel in 2019, addressed her experience of perimenopause as she struggled to remember the name of Balvinder Sopal's dancing partner Julian Caillon as she gave her critique of the couple during Musicals Week.

Motsi appeared to be struggling to get her words out as she judged the couple's latest routine, saying: "Balvinder honestly, erm...we were just holding hands with Shirley throughout that dance.

"Really from the very minute you started and your dance partner - his name is Julian - came over..."
