Two men have been arrested following reports of a firearms discharge at an address in Greater Manchester, police have said.

Officers rushed to a property on Wally Square in Salford at around 6.50pm on December 4. It is suspected that a man walked up to a property before discharging the firearm, after arriving on an electric bike with another man, Greater Manchester Police said.

The force said one woman in her 20s received a minor injury during the incident. GMP has since arrested two men, aged 24 and 28, on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

They remain in custody for questioning and enquiries are ongoing. Police said there is not believed to be any wider threat to the community. Officers are now appealing for anyone with information regarding the inciden
