The Pittsburgh Steelers are elevating offensive tackle D ylan Cook from the practice squad to the active roster for their game against the Baltimore Ravens. That comes after Calvin Anderson , the team’s swing tackle, suffering a knee injury in practice on Wednesday and is out for the game.
This will be Cook’s first elevation and game played this season with the Steelers. He has worked as the backup swing tackle with the team throughout the season. Starting left tackle Broderick Jones is also out and on injured reserve with a neck injury.
Cook is entering his third season with the team. The Steelers have a lot they want to see from him, and Mike Tomlin would not crown him even after getting some first team reps at times in training camp.
