ROCHESTER, Minn.-Rochester was the host of Unified Champion Schools Area 10 Sports Jamboree on Friday, Dec. 5.

According to RPS over 300 students and 60 educators were in attendance.

Colin Thomas, the UCS program liaison for Mayo High School says the program provides an opportunity for students with disabilities and those without the play basketball, yard games and do other activities together in the spirit of inclusivity and teamwork.

He says the jamboree brings together students who participate in the club across several school districts together so they can form new connections and get more experience building friendships in their community.
