Given that Ohio State football has the most wins in the Big Ten championship game with five, for Buckeyes fans, it probably feels like forever since the team's last win, a 22-10 victory over Northwestern in 2020.

But for Indiana fans, it truly has been forever. The Hoosiers have never reached the Big Ten title game, and they have won the regular-season crown only twice, in 1967 and 1945.

So, it may seem like Indiana has much more on the line. However, today's game could determine the Heisman Trophy winner with OSU's Julian Sayin and Indiana's Fernando Mendoza being top contenders for the award. Also, the winning team will almost certainly secure the No. 1 seed in the College Football Playoff and head to the Rose Bowl.
