BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - LSU announced Friday it will not raise season-ticket prices for football next year.
Ticket price increases approved by the LSU Board of Supervisors in October — as much as $125 per seat — will not take effect, the university said.

“LSU has the best fans in the nation who are passionate, loyal and loud,” said Michael Bonnette, an LSU Athletics spokesperson. “Because of that support, the LSU Board of Supervisors and LSU Athletics have decided that we will not raise the price of the football season ticket cost for next year.”
Gov. Jeff Landry criticized the proposed ticket price hike after the team’s 49-25 loss to Texas A&M on Oct. 25.
