Three people have been indicted on multiple federal charges in connection with the death of Zachariah Juwaun Shorty, who was killed in Nenahnezad, New Mexico, in July 2020, according to the United States Attorney's Office for the District of New Mexico.

Shorty, an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation, was found dead on July 25, 2020, with multiple gunshot wounds on a dirt pathway in a field on the Navajo Nation, officials said.
