MARLIN, Texas (KWTX) - The Marlin Police Department is searching for a man who fled from a traffic stop and crashed his vehicle around 5 a.m. Saturday.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male wearing white shoes, black pants and a grey sweatshirt. He was last seen running east of the Big Creek bridge on Highway 6.

Police said the man may be injured and is believed to be armed with a handgun.

Anyone who sees the suspect should call 911 immediately and not approach him, police said.
