The Antelopes, who lost to the Tigers 36-33 in overtime of last season’s state final , broke open a 7-7 tie in the first quarter and rolled to a 31-7 victory on Saturday afternoon at Cumberland Valley High School.

Avonworth’s triumph snapped the Tigers’ 31-game winning streak and gave the Antelopes their first state title in program history.
