LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - The Bethany House of Laredo is expanding its services for the community.
The expansion includes over $7 million in funding, doubling the current shelter capacity and offering more access to counseling and housing support for those in need.
The project is completed and expected to be in use by the end of the year. It is guided by Executive Director Monica Bautista.
Bautista said the project has been long-awaited, telling KGNS that the support of the community and the turnout of the ribbon-cutting ceremony are most memorable.
