ATLANTA — A man arrested in North Carolina will be extradited to Georgia to face charges in connection with a deadly shooting that happened last month.
Atlanta Police said Dominque Tillman Brown, 32, was taken into custody in Smithfield, North Carolina, on Dec. 5.
"Brown was located after Investigators with the Atlanta Police Department disseminated multiple BOLOs to multiple law enforcement agencies throughout the state of North Carolina," police said.
APD said its officers were called on Nov. 5 just after midnight to 210 Auburn Ave. NE, which is the address for Bethel Towers, to respond to a call about a person shot.
When they arrived, APD said its officers found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to Grady Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
