STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Tarleton State pulled away from UND on Saturday in a 31-13 win in the second round of the FCS Playoffs.

On the same day Lance Rucker broke UND's single-season school record for sacks with 11.5, the star junior edge went down with an injury while chasing Tarleton State quarterback Victor Gabalis.
On third-and-10 with 1:58 left in the first half, Rucker and fellow edge Kaden Vig met at the quarterback in a tangle of defenders and Tarleton State offensive linemen.
Rucker appeared to suffer the injury while colliding with Vig. Kyjuan Vengrowsky sacked Gabalis on the play but Rucker laid on the turf and needed medical attention.
