Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer’s message at halftime to his Crimson Tide on Saturday is simple.
“Keep playing,” he told ABC as his team trailed Georgia 14-0 in the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta. “We get the ball to start the second half. It’s a four-quarter game.”
That might be easier said than done.

The first half saw Kirby Smart’s Bulldogs block a punt and pick off a Ty Simpson pass. Both resulted in Georgia’s touchdowns.
“Defense has been playing really good,” DeBoer told the Crimson Tide Sports Network at halftime. “Short field on the block punt. The interception got good field position there (for them).
“We got to find some rhythm with the offense, and there’s plays to be made out there. We have to make them.”
