Transport Canada has recalled more than 32,800 vehicles from Ford and Ram after identifying faulty parts that could increase the risk of a crash.
More than 23,000 Ford vehicles have been recalled due to faulty parts that may increase the risk of a crash, the agency said in a Thursday notice.
Ford Explorers from 2016 and 2017, including those specially built for police, are subject to the recall, the notice said.
On the affected vehicles, exterior trims on the driver and front passenger doors “may not be properly attached,” meaning it could loosen and fall off the vehicle. That could pose a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash, the agency said.
