Our next system moves in for Monday. If the timing holds, temperatures will be cold enough in the mountains for snow starting in the morning, and cold rain here in Charlotte. A few flurries may make it down along the I-40 corridor but little to no accumulation is expected. Higher up in elevation, 1-2 inches of snow will be possible if this forecast holds. This will not be a big rain event for Charlotte picking up generally around a 0.1 inch, but it will make for a chilly day with temperatures in the 40s.
