FLINT, MI - Runners put on their big red suits and white beards for the 16 th annual YMCA Santa Run on Saturday, Dec. 6.

The cold winter day was no deterrence for the hundreds of participants who dressed up as Santa and took part in the festive event.

Starting from the YMCA of Greater Flint located on Harrison Street, runners got dressed in their big red suits and bearsds and lined up for the race to begin.

This year’s run began with a quarter mile Reindeer Run for children to enjoy, often dressed on-theme with antlers and costumes.

The 5-kilometer and mile run followed, with swarms of runners making their way up Saginaw Street and down to the Applewood Estate where they looped around and returned to the finish line.
