GRAND RAPIDS, MI -- One person is in custody after an police shot a person Saturday, Dec. 6, in Grand Rapids.
Police officers said one person was shot and taken into custody, according to WOOD TV . No officers were injured in the shooting, police said.
The Grand Rapids Police Department was not immediately available for comment.
There is a large police presence in the area of Mt. Mercy Drive and Tremont Boulevard NW, according to WOOD TV. Circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown.
