A British woman is facing up to 50 years after being accused of being behind an audacious heist of rare wines worth more than £30,000.

Natali Ray, from Herne Bay, Kent, has been charged with with grand larceny, conspiracy to commit grand larceny and defrauding an innkeeper. She appeared in Clark County General District Court in Virginia this week - she didn't speak during the hearing and only nodded her head to indicate she understood as prosecutor Matthew Bass described the case as "complicated" and said it was a "planned heist".
