The Iowa State Cyclones defeated No. 1 Purdue today at Mackey Arena, 81-58, in a historic upset.
Iowa State freshman Killyan Toure from New Hampshire emerged a star with his full-court pressure defense.
Iowa State now sits at a 9-0 record. Until today, Purdue had won 48 of its last 51 non-conference games.
Now, the Cyclones are the only team in college basketball history to beat a No. 1- ranked team twice by more than 20 points — and both of those wins came in the last two years.
