ST. JOSEPH, Minn. — Concordia went on a 10-2 run in the first quarter and that set the pace as the Cobbers beat Saint Benedict 77-64 in MIAC women's basketball on Saturday.

Maya Metcalf and Molly Musland paced the Cobbers with 14 points and Genevieve Gruba had a team-high six rebounds.

Kaia Gack came off the bench to add 11 points for Concordia (6-1, 2-0 MIAC). Taya Safranski had four assists while Kaitlyn Rohloff had three to go along with nine points.

The Cobbers led 37-25 at the break.

Concordia shot 7 of 12 from deep (58.3%) to St. Benedict's 4 of 25 outing and outrebounded the Bennies 36-23.
