MACON, Ga. — Macon-Bibb County announced some temporary street closures on Sunday for their Downtown Macon Christmas Parade.
The parade starts at 4 p.m. on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and will go from there to Cherry Street, left onto Second Street and right onto Mulberry Street. Then, it will go right again to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard where it will end.
They said that on Sunday, no vehicle traffic will be allowed on the parade route starting at 1 p.m.
The sheriff's office said that the following streets will be blocked:
Fifth Street (blocked at Poplar Street)
Poplar Street (blocked from Fifth Street to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard)
Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard (blocked from Poplar Street to Mulberry Street)
Cherry Street (blocked from Martin Luther King Jr Bo
