Duncanville outlasts Waxahachie, 35-27: live updates, highlights from Texas UIL Class 6A Division I regional final

Duncanville and Waxahachie met Saturday afternoon in a rematch of their regular-season meeting.

The got a late fourth-down stop to thwart the comeback attempt in a 35-27 win Saturday evening here at Midlothian ISD Stadium.

The win helped Duncanville avenge its only loss of the season which came in a 28-27 setback to the Indians back on September 19.

The Panthers (11-1) have now won 10 straight games, and they'll take on the next week in the Texas UIL Class 6A Division I semifinals. Allen knocked off the defending Class 6A Division I state champion Friday night in a 33-21 decision.

Waxahachie concludes its 2025 season at 11-2.
