Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker will visit several churches in the city on Sunday, Dec. 7, to discuss her $2 billion H.O.M.E. housing initiative, her office announced.
Plans for the first year of the H.O.M.E. program have been up for debate , with the Philadelphia City Council and many activists wanting the initial money to go toward the city's most vulnerable residents and clearing the lines to get into affordable housing units.
