Diabetics are being urged to check what type of sensor they use to measure their blood sugar levels as a pharmaceutical giant has issued a product recall . This widespread recall has currently impacted 17 countries, including the UK.
Health care company Abbott is recalling approximately three million blood glucose sensors as there has been a fault found in the device. With the progression of technology , many diabetes patients now use a sensor in their arms to keep an eye on their current blood sugar levels.
