BOWLING GREEN — Breck McKinley’s overtime goal gave the Bowling Green State University men’s hockey team a 4-3 win over Northern Michigan on Saturday.

McKinley’s tally came at the 3:57 mark of the extra session after the Falcons forced overtime late in the third period. Quinn Emerson and Dominik Rymon provided assists on the winner.

Jeremie Minville opened the scoring for BG in the first, but Northern Michigan scored twice in the second to take the lead.

Ivan Korodiuk tied the game at 2 for Bowling Green early in the third but the Wildcats retook the lead with 4:17 left in regulation.

After the Falcons pulled their goalie for an extra attacker, Emerson found the back of the net with 1:15 left on the clock to force overtime.
