It took a half before the No. 25 University of Arkansas men’s basketball team could pull away in a 82-58 victory against Fresno State on Saturday afternoon in North Little Rock.
Fresno State tallied more turnovers (10) than made shots (9) in a drowsy first half at Simmons Bank Arena. The Razorbacks (7-2) almost held the Bulldogs to their lowest score in a game under second-year Coach Vance Walberg, which stood as a 51-point showing last season.
“We’re just trying to pressure,” Arkansas Coach John Calipari said. “They played similar to Louisville, a lot of the same stuff.”
