College Football Playoff: What time does the committee unveil the rankings?

Tomorrow is Selection Sunday. The College Football Playoff selection committee will unveil the final rankings and full 12-team bracket on Sunday, Dec. 7, with the selection show scheduled for noon to 3 p.m. Eastern on ESPN.

The CFP rankings are a weekly top 25 list created by a selection committee to seed the 12‑team College Football Playoff and determine who makes the field.

The five highest‑ranked conference champions automatically qualify for the playoff, and the following seven highest‑ranked teams fill out the 12‑team bracket. The four highest‑ranked teams overall receive first‑round byes, while teams ranked 5‑12 play first‑round games, usually at the higher seed’s home site.
