CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A Cleveland non-profit cut a big check this holiday season to moms and children in need.
“This a great example of women helping women and moms helping moms!” said Linda Uvegas, CEO of The City Mission.
Motherhood is a unique connection between women.
For the ladies of Cleveland Moms 4 Moms, that connection was the catalyst for this holiday season, giving a massive check and gifts.
“We realized the importance of motherhood and struggles that mom and children face,” said Vidhya Ramachandran with Cleveland Moms 4 Moms.
The non-profit handed this check of more than $19,000 and total gift amount of about $30,000 over to Laura’s Home Women Crisis Center.
They fundraised money and gifts, from toys to baby formula, all going to mothers and children at the Center this
