CHATHAM, Ill. (WAND) — Families were able to take part in a children's holiday store in Chatham Saturday morning.

People stopped by the Chatham United Methodist Church from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Kids got the opportunity to shop for gifts for their loved ones with help from some cheerful elves.

Organizers said they loved seeing the smiles on kids faces.

"I think we have a really great community in Chatham, and this is just something for the community to take part in and have everybody come out together," said volunteer Kristy Doan.

Organizers said they are grateful the event continues to grow each year.
