Colorado coach Deion Sanders just dialed up a new playmaker for his staff, tapping Sacramento State’s Brennan Marion as the next offensive coordinator. The Buffs announced the hire on Friday. Marion now takes the reins from Pat Shurmur, whose deal wrapped after Colorado limped to a 3–9 finish.
At 38, Marion becomes Sanders’ third OC in the Coach Prime era, following Sean Lewis, as well as Shurmur, who steered the offense in 2024 with stars like Shedeur Sanders and Heisman winner Travis Hunter. Even with elite weapons, the Buffs just couldn’t stay on schedule, struggling to find a rhythm all season.
While Colorado was stuck trying to move the chains, Coach Prime’s ex-wife, Carolyn Chambers, was celebrating in full Christmas mode with the Sanders crew. On Instagram Stories, she shared clip
