INDIANAPOLIS -- For all the talk about Ohio State’s strength of schedule, and lack thereof, it was undeniably true that its defense hadn’t gone up against a major threat in months.
It did on Saturday against Indiana. And the Hoosiers certainly packed a punch.
Against one of the best offenses in the sport, Ohio State’s defense was hit like it hadn’t been all season. And now, headed into the College Football Playoff, the Buckeyes were given as strong of a dress rehearsal as possible to prepare for a run to the National Championship Game.
And the way Saturday turned out, a 13-10 loss, it wouldn’t be a shock to see Indiana waiting there.
