Even Christopher Columbus could see the issue plaguing Ohio State’s offense on Saturday against Indiana.

Sometimes, the simplest explanation is the soundest. And in the case of Ohio State’s 13-10 loss at Lucas Oil Stadium, experts and novices alike offered coach Ryan Day the same advice:

Throw it over their heads!

Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin entered this weekend ranked first nationally in completion percentage on throws 20-plus yards down the field. And the Buckeyes ranked first (unofficially) in all-world wide receiver talent.
