BOZEMAN, Mont. — With 3 minutes, 48 seconds remaining in the first quarter, UND was already trailing Montana State by 20 points.
The Fighting Hawks never managed to make a dent in the Bobcats' commanding lead.
Montana State cruised to a 99-57 victory over the Hawks Saturday evening at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse.
UND dropped to 1-9. It was the Hawks' fourth straight loss, and their second by 30 or more points.
The Bobcats are now 5-2.
UND finished with 25 turnovers and was out-rebounded 38-29.
The Hawks shot 43.5% from the field and 25% from beyond the arc.
Montana State, on the other hand, shot 48.1% from deep and was 41-for-77 from the field.
Sophomore forward Teagan Erickson led the Bobcats with 27 points. She was followed by sophomore forward Addison Harris and sophomore guard
