EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey (WABC) -- Futbol fever is hitting the U.S. hard in anticipation of the World Cup next summer.

FIFA announced the start times for the tournament's 104 matches on Saturday, a day after the draw for the expanded 48-nation tournament to be played in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The kickoff time allows for prime-time viewing in Europe, where it will be 9 p.m., and Britain, where it will be 8 p.m.

MetLife Stadium will play host to eight fixtures during the FIFA World Cup 26, beginning with five Group Stage matches:

Match 7 - Saturday, 13 June 2026 at 18:00 ET, BRA vs MAR (Group C)

Match 17 - Tuesday, 16 June 2026 at 15:00 ET, FRA vs SEN (Group I)

Match 41 - Monday, 22 June 2026 at 20:00 ET, NOR vs SEN (Group I)

Match 56 - Thursday, 25 June 2026 at 16:00 ET, ECU
