DAWSON CREEK - Canada fell 2-0 to the United States in the Para Hockey Cup final Saturday.
Brett Bolton scored in the first period and Brody Roybal added an empty-net goal for the U.S., which is the reigning world and Olympic para hockey champion.
Jen Lee posted a 10-save shutout for the Americans at the Ovintiv Events Centre in Dawson Creek, B.C.
Canada's Corbin Watson made 16 saves in the loss. Canada didn't score on three power-play chances and the U.S. went 0-for-2 with a man advantage.
The U.S. went undefeated in five games in the four-country tournament that also included Czechia and China.
Canada went 3-2 with both losses at the hands of the U.S.
