Patrick Kane scored with 2:29 remaining in the third period Saturday to snap a tie and the Detroit Red Wings defeated the Seattle Kraken 4-3 at Climate Pledge Arena.
Kane took a pass from Alex DeBrincat off the rush and fired a shot from the slot past goaltender Joey Daccord. It was his second goal in as many games following a nine-game goal-scoring drought, his fifth of the season and 497th of his career.
The Red Wings (15-11-3, 33 points) have gained points in their past three games (2-0-1).
John Gibson made 24 saves for his second win in a row following a six-game skid (0-5-1).
Emmitt Finnie (power play), Andrew Copp and James van Riemsdyk also scored for Detroit. Simon Edvinsson contributed a pair of assists.
Seattle fell to 11-9-6 (28 points).
