All of the previous times Taylee Chirrick has flirted with a triple-double, it was usually because she had racked up the steals.
But on Saturday evening against North Dakota at Worthington Arena, the Montana State sophomore accomplished the feat with points (17), rebounds (10) and assists (10, a career high) in her team’s 99-57 victory.
No stranger to stuffing the stat sheet — she had a quadruple-double during her senior year at Roberts High School, along with at least one other triple-double — Chirrick’s latest effort is another wowing performance in a young career that has already been full of them.
