LEGOLAND Florida's first indoor family space-themed rollercoaster will officially open on Feb. 27, 2026

Galacticoaster is the first new roller coaster to open inside the main LEGOLAND Florida theme park since the resort's debut in 2011.

"You're never going to see a launch like the Galacticoaster, that's for sure. Even in Florida," said Rob Smith, COO of Merlin Entertainments.

The indoor family ride will take guests on a space adventure, reaching speeds up to 40 miles per hour. Guests, referred to as rookie recruits and space cadets, will have the opportunity to design their own spacecraft for the ride, with more than 625 combinations available.
