Editor’s note: I first met Sean Parker when he moved to Las Vegas to lead Teach for America. TFA is one of those incredible advances in public education that is not well known but deeply ingrained in communities across the country. Educators know and respect it. Students are well served by it. And the cities which it serves are enhanced by it.

Sean is now the founder of the Center for the Future of Learning (CFL). He has also been a moderator for the Las Vegas Sun Youth Forum for the past seven years.
