Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (15) meets with Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud (7) after a 2025 AFC divisional round game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

In the final one-third of the season, every game seems to matter a lot more. In no case is that more true than in the three divisional matchups that will determine which team leaves Week 14 with the first-place spot.

The Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars are tied atop the AFC South heading into their matchup this week. The same is true for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North.

In the NFC North, the Chicago Bears hold a small lead over the Green Bay Packers, but the Packers can take over the top spot in the division with a win at home in Week 14. A Bears win would extend their divisional lead and create some breathing room with a head-to-head victory over their closest competition on the road.

Closing out the Sunday slate in Week 14 is a prime-time game that could have massive implications on the race for the final wild-card spot in the AFC. The Kansas City Chiefs would be all but eliminated with a loss to the Houston Texans dropping them to 6-7.
