Christmas shopping can either be the bane of someone's festive period, or a key element of joy. Sometimes, when you've exhausted all of what your local shopping scene has to offer, it can be worth heading somewhere different for a change of scenery.

Fortunately for us here in Bristol, there's no shortage of places to journey to for a spot of Christmas shopping. Just a short commute away you have places like Bath , with its world famous Christmas market and historic architecture, Wells with its small independents and local marketplace, while a little further afield you have the quirkiness of Glastonbury and other spots like Gloucestershire and Cheltenham to explore.
