After 24 years, 17 world championships, six WrestleMania main events and one under-cooked heel turn , the WWE icon is calling career.

Cena 's final match will take place at Saturday Night's Main Event (SNME) on December 13, and will bring the curtain down on a year-long retirement tour .

His final opponent was determined on Friday's episode of SmackDown, when Gunther beat LA Knight to win 'The Last Time is Now Tournament' for the honor of facing Cena.

SNME will be the first time that the pair have met in the squared circle, meaning 'The Face of WWE' will add one final rival to his resume before riding off into the sunset.
