Apple is dealing with another possible shakeup in its leadership ranks, as longtime hardware technologies chief Johny Srouji has told Chief Executive Tim Cook that he’s weighing an exit, according to people familiar with the situation, reports Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.

Srouji, who oversees the company’s chip program and played a central role in building Apple’s custom silicon strategy , has signaled internally that he may join another firm if he decides to move on. His potential departure comes as Apple is already dealing with a huge number of senior executives retiring or leaving the company.
